With a consistent rise in the offers received by students, the recruitment results of the University are heartening. With offers being made through Campus Recruitment, PPOs and Off-Campus recruitment, the placement season for the batch of 2014 is still on.

As per the Internship & Placement Committee (for the 2014 batch), the Recruitment Process for the current batch started in April, 2013. Out of the batch strength of 150 students, 80 students registered for the process. As of June 2014, over 50 students have received at least one offer from various organisations with a few recruitment processes still under process for which the University is expecting results by the end of this month.

The most number of campus offers were made by Thomson Reuters (Noida/Mumbai). Offers were also received from top tier law firms like Amarchand Mangaldas, with the highest packages of over 12 lacs per annum.

The number of PPOs and off-campus recruitments outnumbered the number of campus offers. The number of campus offers made depends, to a certain extent on the alumni base. It has to be accepted that our alumni base is getting stronger every passing year. It is tough getting the bigger law firms without a long-standing relationship fostered through alumni, something which we are still in the process of developing. But the high number of PPOs and off-campus recruitments is a testimony to the undoubted talent of the students.

3 dedicated and socially conscious students, Sachin Upadhyay, Rishi Raj Verma and Rishabh Kapoor had started their own NGO by the name of Care About People (CAP) and have done commendable work in the areas of women empowerment, right to education, right to information and have also provided free legal aid during the Mahakumbha in Allahabad, last year. They intend to continue with the good work.

A significant number of students are looking forward to LL.M. offers from foreign Universities and some are taking national competitive examinations.

The Placement Committee for the 2014 batch had Divya Swamy and Shradha Rakhecha as its members. Following is the detailed statistics for the batch of 2014:
