The Government of India have decided to completely cease the physical printing and sale of hard copies of Gazettes of India and switch to exclusive e-publishing of the Gazettes with effect from 01.10.2015 by uploading the Gazettes on the official website www.egazette.nic.in . The users may download the e-gazette so published free of charge from the above mentioned Official website. The Department of Publication under Ministry of Urban Development shall maintain the record of notifications published for reference whenever required. The said notification was issued having regard to provisions of Section 8 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
