National Law University Delhi has been officially selected by ICC Hague and Leiden University for organizing the 2016 India Qualifying Rounds of the International Criminal Court Moot Competition. The prestigious moot court competition is a realistic simulation of proceedings at the International Criminal Court and addresses the central issues of substantive and procedural international criminal law. The ICC Moot encourages students to study the working of the International Criminal Court, imperative in the contemporary global context. The National Rounds are tentatively scheduled to be held in early March next year.
The registrations for the international rounds are open till 22 October. The National Round Organizers will consequently formulate a separate registration process after the respective teams have registered for the International Rounds.
National Law University Delhi partners with the Organizing Committee of the ICC Moot Court Competition and the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at the Leiden University for organizing the National Rounds.
