The President in exercise of the powers conferred by article 223 of the Constitution of India, appointed Shri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan, senior-most Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, to perform the duties of the office of Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from the date Shri Justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale relinquishes charge of his office of the Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh consequent upon his appointment as Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court.
