The President in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 100 of the Constitution of Jammu & Kashmir, appointed Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar, senior-most Judge of the Jammu & Kashmir High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from 15th March, 2017 consequent upon the retirement of Justice Narayanan Nadar Paul Vasanthakumar, Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir High Court.
