About the Event: Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University was established in 2005 by the State Legislature through the Doctor Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University Uttar Pradesh Act, 2005 and came into existence in 2006 with the intent of meeting the new challenges in the legal field and elevating the benchmark of legal education. Since its establishment, the University has advanced to disseminate learning and knowledge of law and its processes and develop in its students the responsibility to serve the society in the field of law.
One of the University’s attempts to further its objective is the organization of RMLNLU-SCC Online® International Media Law Moot Court Competition in collaboration with SCC Online®. The first edition of the moot was organized in 2013 in order to foster legal acumen in the vigorously prospering field of international media law, which turned out to be a huge success seeing the participation of twenty-seven teams from across the nation. Since its inception, we have ensured maintenance of standards in all aspects of the organization of the moot right from the quality of the bench to complete hospitality while the team’s stay on campus. We strive to achieve higher success with each edition of the moot.
The 6th edition of the RMLNLU-SCC Online® International Media Law Moot Court Competition boasts of highly qualified panels of judges. Awards for winners shall include cash prizes along with other SCC Online® access cards and subscriptions.
The dates of oral rounds of the 6th RMLNLU-SCC Online® International Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2018 have been revised due to unavoidable circumstances, to March 9-11, 2018.
