While you’re still taking your new year resolutions seriously, we invite you to sweat it out and gear up for the upcoming version of Magnus. After the tremendous success of Magnus 2017 and Biswamil 2017, we are ready to host the sixth, bigger and better edition of JGU’s Sports Fest- Magnus’ 18 from 16th to 18th March 2018.
To the uninitiated, Magnus is an inter-university sports fest which we has been successfully hosting over the last 5 years. Magnus has grown to become the favourite sports fest for a lot of universities across the nation. So far, we have had attendees such as Benny Dayal, Agnee, The Local Train, Coke Studio, Sunburn Campus, DJ’s Anish Sood, NYK, Julia Bliss, Zaeden, amongst others. The Arjuna Awardee & the Olympics Bronze Medalist (Rio 2016), Ms. Sakshi Malik was the Chief Guest of Magnus’ 17.
This year, Magnus’ 18 envisages bringing the sparks of a battlefield to lush green terrains of Sonepat. With participants from several prestigious universities across the county and abroad, who are faster, stronger and ready to fight with every drop of blood that runs through their vessels, Magnus’ 18 is going to be an unforgettable experience.
We sincerely request the entire student body of JGU to make Magnus one of the best Sports Fest, once again. We will be sending a volunteer email soon where you all can sign up for the Committee, you wish to work for, and become a part of the family we call ‘Magnus Crew’.
So, spread the word far and wide, mark your calendars, pull up your socks and tie your shoelaces, glory awaits you!
