NALSAR will be hosting eminent historian Ramchandra Guha as part of Nalsar Public Policy Lecture Series on 21st March, 2018. His other areas of expertise include include environmental protection, social welfare, politics and cricket. He is also a regular columnist in various newspapers. He has taught at the universities of Yale and Stanford and has been a Visiting Professor at the University of California at Berkeley and London School of Economics. Mr. Guha is the author of the books ‘India After Gandhi’ and ‘Gandhi Before India’. He is the recipient of Sahitya Academy Award and Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism. In 2009, he was awarded Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian honour. He was also appointed to BCCI’s Committee of Administrators by the Supreme Court of India in 2017.
Therefore, instead of a talk, this session will be a free-flowing conversation giving an opportunity to the audience to ask him questions on a range of topics. The talk will be held at the M.K. Nambiar SAARC LAW Centre from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
