This is to announce that O.P. Jindal Global University will be hosting its biggest annual fest, Biswamil 2018 from 5th to 7th October, 2018. Biswamil is not just another college fest. It is an emotion, a feeling and a culture that is shared by each and every member of the JGU community. Biswamil is not just dance, music and drama. It is a platform where we make friends, create memories, cherish moments and spread happiness. It is a stage that gives every student the opportunity to display their talents, make friends and have a hell lot of fun.
The first edition of Biswamil was an attempt to create the feel of the village setting, the khaats and the khets, and make people realise the beauty of the rural surroundings we are situated in. Rather than considering the distinct rural setting of our campus as a disadvantage, we have learnt to embrace it in the way we decorate our campus and thematise the event. This was the chief idea behind the first edition of the fest in 2014 and is a tradition we intend to re-create this year, as we stand at the doorstep of the fifth edition of this annual cultural extravaganza.
Despite being situated amongst the fields of Haryana, Biswamil has in its short tenure of four years, witnessed performances of youth influencers like Benny Dayal, The Local Train, Agnee, Prateek Kuhad, DJ Shaan among others. This year, from 5th to 7th of October 2018 we only plan on taking this legacy further and making Biswamil the biggest it has ever been.
