Judges of High Courts who have been posted or transferred (including on initial appointment) to the High Courts of North Eastern Region from outside North-Eastern Region or from another area of that region shall be paid Special Duty Allowance (SDA) at the rate of 10% basic pay w.e.f. 1-7-2017.
