Moot law competitions should be held across India by the Law Universities on a crucial topic of contemporary relevance viz., INTERNATIONAL PARENTAL CHILD ABDUCTIONS TO INDIA: ISSUES AND CHALLENGES FACED BY ABDUCTED CHILDREN. Union Ministries of Women and Child Development, Home Affairs, External Affairs, and Law and Social Justice, Govt. of India view the IPCA as women abuse but not child abuse. These ministries have never taken the reactions of the abducted children across India and take them for granted that these children are happy, healthy, peaceful and progressive in their life under the care and comfort of parental abductors who are given safe shelter in India since such abductions are not considered as criminal offenses unlike in countries like the US, Canada, UK, Australia and as many as 96 countries of the world where the said offenses are punishable with imprisonment. It is ideal to enlist the views and reflections of the students of India who are pursuing law degrees.
