One Day National Seminar on Cyber Crimes-Issues and Challenges was held at the Faculty of Law; JMI.
Technical Session:The Seminar saw the enthralling and vibrant presentations of a variety of research papers totaling about 70 in 7 different Technical Sessions on chosen themes viz. Emerging Trends in Cyber World, Cyber Crimes against Women and Children, Cyber Crime against Government: Net Neutrality and Regulation of Internet; Privacy, Data Protection, and Blockchain: Emerging Challenges, Artificial Intelligence, Fake IDs and Role of United Nations and E-banking, Financial Frauds and Cyber Scams.
Valedictory Session:
The concluding Session was presided over by Prof.(Dr.) Nuzhat Parveen Khan, Dean,f/o Law, JMI in which she touched upon in brief the nitty-gritty of the Cyber Crime in personal and professional affairs.
Prof. Fazal Wani, School of Law, GGS IP University and Prof.(Dr.) S.D. Sharma of Dr. B.R. University, Lucknow, graced the Session as Guest of Honour. They spoke about the role and importance of ethics in the implementation and proper functioning of any law profession want specifically emphasized on the term ‘Cyber Ethics’.
It was followed by a presentation of Rapporteur’s report by Dr.Qazi Usaman, Convenor of the Seminar. Finally, the whole day event got concluded with formal vote of thanks by Dr. Ghulam Yazdani, Convenor of the Seminar.
