Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad is organizing the 1st National Corporate Restructuring Competition from 17th to 18th August 2019.
The case vehicle is based on the field of Restructuring strategies, Company Law. It shall also touch upon various aspects of Tax law also.
Corporate world is in a constant state of tranformation due to which the members of such a world have to embrace the dynamicity it poses.
In the 21st century, organizations are driven constantly to reinvent themselves in order to compete in the global scenario. At the same time,
consolidation as a growth strategy to achieve scale is driving Mergers & Acquisitions to unprecedented levels.
The competition showcases a fictional scenario, wherein a company under distress is to be saved. The participants will pose as members of a firm presenting ideas to the board members of the fictional company. Every team may consist of two speakers and one draftsman. The firm presenting the best idea with greatest scope of saving the company will be the winners of the competition.
