About the Colloquium                                                         

The scope of legal education, liberal arts and social sciences has expanded with the changing nature of economy and society. There is an emerging trend in the academia to  integrate humanities, arts with  professional education, Science and Technology, Engineering, Medicine (STEM) courses in order to develop  all aspects of human beings – intellectual, aesthetic, social, physical, emotional and moral as part of holistic education to produce good human beings and to create a better world.

In view of proliferation of law schools and spread of liberal arts and social science education today, it is a high time to deliberate upon academic leadership, academic freedom and research ethics in the fields of legal and social science education in order to have a deeper understanding of it.

About SGT University

Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGT) was established in the year 2013 with a vision of nurturing  future leaders for nation building.The University is located in Gurugram, a satellite town of  Delhi-NCR region.  It is  the youngest university to be  awarded “GOLD” University rating during the QS India Summit held in the year 2018. It has 17 faculties offering more than 170 courses.The Faculty of Law came into being in the year 2014 upon approval by the Bar Council of India. It offers BA LL.B (Hons.), BBA.LL.B (Hons.). Guidelines for abstract submission

Participants are required to submit a written abstractwith the word limit of 250 words containing the title of paper, name of author, affiliation, key words and the main arguments of the final paper. Please adhere to the submission guidelines-Microsoft word text format with 1.5 line spacing and with the font size of 12 (Times New Roman). Kindly avoid from using any footnote, pdf text format and any other special formatting in abstract.

Registration fee details

The selected participants need to pay the following registration fee (cash only) at the venue of the colloquium. No DA/TA and accommodation will be paid to the participants. The registration fee includes conference kits and refreshments.

Academicians/ professionals: Rs 1000/-

Students / Research Scholars: Rs 500/-
