Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College, Pune conducted a one-day seminar on “India’s Tryst with Terrorism- Revisiting the Mumbai Terror Attacks” on 13.09.2019. The keynote speaker was Padma Shri Adv. Ujjwal Nikam, Celebrated Criminal Lawyer and Special Public Prosecutor for the Government of India. Mr Nikam spoke extensively about how the trial for the perpetrators of the 26/11 attack was carried out and gave an insight into the proceedings. He delved into the important legal points concerning the trial and also mentioned how trials in terror related cases are conducted.
