The NUALS Parliamentary Debate, 2020 is the flagship annual debating tournament conducted by the NUALS Debating Society. The event is scheduled to be held from 28th February 2020 to 1st March, 2020.
For this year’s edition, we will be collaborating with the Centre for Consumer Protection Law and Policy (CCPLaP), one of the sixteen Centres for Research and Learning at NUALS.
This year’s tournament shall follow the same format of a 2×2 British Parliamentary Debate with the n+1 rule for adjudicators and the event retains its closed event type, i.e, no graduates can participate in the event. Cross teams and independent adjudicators are encouraged to participate. There is a team cap of 40 teams for the event and slots for the teams will be allotted on a first come first serve basis.
