Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court noted that several Lawyers have been mentioning urgency for listing the minor bail applications relating to minor offences.
Registrar {J} (Listing) detailed that a good number of fresh minor bail applications were pending for consideration.
Thus, Chief Justice deems it appropriate to get the minor bail applications. which were in daily cause list of 18th March, 2020 be listed before the Court on 7th and 8th April, 2020 and matters of the daily cause list of 19th March, 2020 be listed before the Court on 9th and 10th April, 2020 before the following Benches:-
1. Justice Suneet Kumar
2. Justice Siddharth
3. Justice J.J. Munir
4. Justice Vivek Kumar Singh
5. Justice Umesh Kumar
- Minor bail applications listed before Justice Rajendra Kumar—IV except part heard or tied up or assigned matters.
- Fresh minor bail applications which were to be taken up on 23rd March. 2020 shall be taken up by the Court from 2nd April, 2020 to 10th April, 2020.
- Criminal writ petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India where a prayer is made for stay of arrest, which were in daily cause list of 18th and 19th March, 2020 he also listed before the Bench consisting of Justice Ramesh Sinha and Justice Samit Gopal.
- Fresh Criminal WPs to be taken up from 07-04-2020 to 10-04-2020.
The above stated Order was notified on 04-04-2020.
