30% reduction in salaries payable to MPs to meet exigencies of COVID 19 — Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members of Parliament (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020

President promulgates — Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members of Parliament (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.

Amendment of Section 3: after sub-section (1), insertion of sub-section (1A) shall take place, which states:

“Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the salary payable to Members of Parliament under sub-section (1) shall be reduced by thirty per cent to meet the exigencies arising out of CoronaVirus (COVID-19) PANDEMIC .”
