About the Organiser
RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (RFMLR), first published in the year 2014, is a bi-annual, student-run, blind peer-reviewed law journal currently in its 7th volume and is one of the flagship publications of RGNUL. The Editorial Board of RFMLR also operates the RFMLR Blog at www.rfmlr.com.
RFMLR is indexed on SCC Online and has been ranked among the Top 10 Law Reviews by SCC Online.
The Editorial Board of RGNUL Financial and Mercantile Law Review (Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab) is organising a Workshop on “Demystifying the Due Diligence Universe”. The resource person for the Workshop is Mr Pratika Shankar, Managing Associate at Talwar Thakore & Associates (TT&A).
About the Workshop
Due diligence is a familiar term in the field of corporate law. It constitutes a basic component of any corporate lawyer’s work profile, yet this topic is hardly delved into detail in law schools. The concept can only be learnt through practical experiences and thus, understanding the practical aspects of due diligence becomes essential for a career in corporate law. The Workshop attempts to impart knowledge about these practical aspects. Reading material will be emailed to all participants before the workshop. Further, an assessment will be shared with the participants after the workshop and certificates will be issued after successful completion of the assessment.
