The day is really historic. Indian parliament  passed Labour Codes viz the lR Code 2020, code on specially security 2020 and occupational safety, health and working conditions Codes 2020 causing historic demolition the decades old plethora of Labour Laws including the archaic British elements in our country. The legal fraternity as well as employers concerned Government officers and other stakeholders want to understands what is in store for them. Passing of this Labour Code, is it going to alter the fortunes of migrant Laborers to Gig economy’s remote workers. It would be interested to understand the passing this code whose rights are taken away? is which employer, a union, employee or Government.

Since National Institute of Personnel Management is organisation of Human Resource professionals, it is closely observing the activities in this regard and could make out that different set of people have formed different opinions about this codes. Some are speaking in its favour and some are speaking against it and there is utter confusion. To sort out this confusion Mumbai Chapter office bearers laid by its Chairman Rajen Kanitkar and Vice Chairman Salil Desai took a initiatives in organising this Webinar by inviting authorities known in the areas of legal jurisprudence to exactly explain the contents of this Labour Codes. And this efforts include well known judicial celebrities like Justice B N Shrikrishna, Advocate and Senior Counsel Jamshed P Cama and Advocate and Labour Laws consultant Shri. Rajiv Joshi.
