The Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Centre, National Law Institute University, Bhopal in association with School of Information Technology, RGPV, Bhopal, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal and CyberPeace Foundation, New Delhi, is organizing an e-Conference on completion of “Twenty Years of the Information Technology Act, 2000” on 19th December 2020. The purpose of e-Conference is to invite academicians, researchers, domain experts and industry experts to ponder on the effectiveness of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and at the same time propose the changes that may be required to suit the evolving nature of cyberspace and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The e-Conference will track developments of the Information Technology Act, 2000 over the last couple of decades and discuss the challenges in the implementation of the Act. The e-Conference endeavour to understand the latest developments in the Indian Cyberspace Regulatory Framework, especially in light of the 2008 amendments to the Act.
The e-Conference will also serve as a platform for the members from academia to exchange knowledge with the Information Technology professionals.
We expect an audience comprising academicians, researchers, students, cyber professionals, cyber stakeholders, cyber forensics experts, advocates and information technology professionals.
We are inviting research papers for presentation during the e-Conference and then, these research papers shall be published in the form of a Book with an ISBN number.
