The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers notified the Drugs (Prices Control) Third Amendment Order, 2021 on August 12, 2021. It amends the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 in the following manner:

The revision of ceiling prices shall be carried out every five years from the date of fixing the ceiling price under this Order for formulations as specified under the SCHEDULE – I.
Schedule-I deals with General Anesthetics and oxygen, Non-opioid analgesics, antipyretics and no steroidal anti -inflammatory medicines, Antiallergics and medicines used in anaphylaxis, Anticonvulsants/Antiepileptics, Beta lactam medicines etc.
