The Central Government has notified the Spices Board (Registration of Exporters) (Amendment) Regulations, 2021 vide notification dated October 25, 2021.
The amendment modifies fees for application for registration, the Manufacturer Exporter fees shall be Rs.15,000/- and Merchant Exporter shall be Rs.10,000/. The amendment also states that for certificate of registration as exporter of spices, every applicant shall notify Spices Board, of each establishment or unit under its control that carries out any of the stages of warehousing, processing, value addition etc. of spices for export. The Board must always have all the information on such establishments, including any significant change in activities and any addition or closure of an establishment or unit.
