LSAC Global | Webinar on “Constitutionalism: Idealism vs. Realism” [November 26, 2021]

We, at LSAC Global, are committed to providing  valuable  global perspectives to law aspirants, law students and legal professionals in India to help them and their families make an informed decision. As an added resource for students and parents, LSAC Global is hosting a series of webinars featuring top Indian and international legal education leaders who are offering valuable perspectives on the legal education landscape.

On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India. Also known as the National Law Day, every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution, it is also celebrated as the Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas. We aim to celebrate this day with some interesting questions on the making of the Indian Constitution. Often law schools touch upon constitutionalist ideals and the rule of law. However, since the adoption of the Indian Constitution, the concepts have undergone a transformation. The aim of the webinar is to revisit some of these theories and understand the future of Constitutional rights in India.
