Government notifies 7.1% as the rate of interest under the special deposit scheme

The Ministry of Finance has notified that the deposits made under the Special Deposit Scheme for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation and Gratuity Funds, shall bear interest at 7.1% (seven point one percent) with effect from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022, vide notification dated January 3, 2022.
