On January 05, 2022, the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Three Hundred and Sixty-sixth Amendment Rules, 2022 has been notified to amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961.
Key amendment:
- In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, in THE SECOND SCHEDULE, under the heading “MINISTRY OF DEFENCE (RAKSHA MANTRALAYA)”, under the sub–heading “B. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE PRODUCTION (RAKSHA UTPADAN VIBHAG)”,–
(a) Deletion of entry 1 relating to ordnance factory board;
(b) Following entries shall be inserted, namely: –
“16. Munitions India Limited.
17. Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited.
18. Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited.
19. Troop Comforts Limited.
20. Yantra India Limited.
21. India Optel Limited.
22. Gliders India Limited.”
