Former District and Sessions Judge Abdul Rashid Malik has been appointed as Senior Additional Advocate General (AAG) to represent the Jammu & Kashmir Government before the Srinagar wing of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
He has been appointed for a period of one year which shall be extended subject to satisfactory performance of the Advocate and shall be subject to orders passed in Sushil Chandel v. Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, WP(C) PIL No 6 of 2021.
