ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) is a field of law that seeks to reward and protect the creation of the intellectual labor and skill of individuals. With the ever-increasing needs of society, there is a constant requirement for creative thinking to address the needs and wants of mankind. Intellectual Property Rights were hence created with the objective of promoting creativity and rewarding the creator with economic and moral achievements. But with the changing environment in industrial and economic sectors, the subject matter of IPR changed from protection of creativity to economic exploitation of tangible property derived from an intangible idea. The DPIIT IPR-CHAIR MNLU, Nagpur takes this opportunity to provide a platform for the intellectual discourse by organising the National Conference on “Emerging Trends and Challenges in Protection of Intellectual Property”.
