On 15-2-2023, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (‘CERC’) notified the date on which certain provisions of the CERC (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2022 will come into effect.
The following provisions of the regulations will come into effect on 1-4-2023:
1. Regulation 6- Provisions pertaining to Tertiary Reserve Ancillary Service (‘TRAS’)
2. Regulations 14 to 19
3. Regulations 20 to 22- Provisions pertaining to TRAS
4. Regulation 26
Note: The Detailed Procedure issued under CERC (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2015 will cease to be in operation post Regulation 26 comes into force from 1-4-2023.
