On 27-3-2023, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (‘IRDAI’) notified the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Expenses of Management of Insurers transacting General or Health Insurance business) Regulations, 2023. The Rules will repeal the IRDAI (Expenses of Management of Insurers transacting General or Health Insurance Business) Regulations, 2016.

Tamil Nadu notifies Civil Services (Appointment on Compassionate Grounds) Rules, 2023
On 8-3-2023, the Government of Tamil Nadu notified the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Appointment on Compassionate Grounds) Rules, 2023. Under these rules, a Government Servant (‘GS’) means a person who has been appointed to any service/ post in connection with the affairs of the State and includes a probationer, an approved probationer and a full member of a service.
